Reasons for choosing antistatic agents
Because plastic has a good electrical insulation, set high surface resistance and low dielectric constant in one, so they are easy to produce static electricity friction;Due to these characteristics, coupled with the transport and processing process to be processed, resulting in plastic products surface will have a very high charge, resulting in the following problems: make plastic surface easy to absorb dust, affect the appearance of products and product performance;Workers working near the machine are in danger of electric shocks;It even causes fire accidents.

Working principle：


There are two types of antistatic agents：
- internal antistatic agent：
In the extrusion process, the polymer is added to make it evenly distributed in the polymer. After processing and forming, the antistatic agent molecules migrate to the surface with the help of the chain segment movement of the polymer molecules, absorbing moisture in the air and forming a uniform conductive layer to eliminate static electricity.When the antistatic layer on the plastic surface is missing or damaged, the internal antistatic agent molecules can continue to migrate outward to supplement, so it has a more lasting antistatic effect.

-External antistatic agent：
A conductive coating (antistatic coating) applied to a plastic surface by spray or coating.
External antistatic agent is a temporary antistatic method.The antistatic agent is dissolved in the appropriate solvent, the plastic products are treated by spraying, dipping and other methods, and then dry and remove the solvent to form the molecular layer of antistatic agent on the plastic surface.By absorbing water molecules in the air to form a layer of uniformly distributed conductive solution on the surface of the material, or ionizing itself to conduct surface charge, antistatic effect can be achieved.
